Sample Itinerary

Your adventure itinerary will be customised to fit your group! When you book with us, our team will connect with you to ensure we know what you're looking for and provide you with the right winter adventure for you. Below is an example of one of our favourite three day Bruce winter adventures.

Day 1 - Ice Cave Snowshoeing - After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, we'll head North towards the Bruce Peninsula National Park for a snowshoe adventure. After hiking along the top of the escarpment and enjoying the views, we'll eventually make our way down to the frozen water's edge, and discover the massive ice caves hidden along the coast. Enjoying a hot chocolate in the cave, we'll spend some time learning how to take world-class ice photos using just a smartphone and, if the ice is thick enough, head out to snowshoe on the wind-crusted surface of Georgian Bay.

Day 2 - Cross Country Ski Experience - We'll start the morning with a cross country skiing skills workshop. Warming up on beginners trails we'll work on technique and efficiency, getting comfortable exploring some easier routes. After a lunch break, that includes some maple syrup dessert surprises, we'll hit the trails on a guided excursion discovering the beautiful forests and rolling hills around Hepworth. We'll finish off the day with a winter cookout by the fire, enjoying a hot fresh dinner and local beverages.

Day 3 - Frozen Waterfalls - On our last day, we'll offer three different ways to experience frozen waterfalls. We can go as photographers, taking easy trails and focusing on shooting the frozen with a series of winter photography tips and lessons. We can go as hikers, heading out for a longer excursion to some of the more isolated falls in the region. Finally, for those feeling adventurous, we can explore the frozen falls as ice climbers, strapping on our crampons and ice axes and learning how to safely ascend a wall of ice!
